 Single mom Cam's life revolves around her son and school, leaving no room for fun. So when she meets heavily muscled Hawk, she's not interested. Hawk is determined to show her the lighter side of life.

 Rooster and Bex made plans for their future, so when he found out she had left him, he was devastated. He was unprepared when a little girl showed up on his doorstep looking just like her. In asking Cam's cousin to help him take care of her, he might have gotten more than he could have ever expected.

"You're my daddy," the little girl said, still smiling up at me.

Someone sucker punched me. That smile was going to haunt me. I had done everything I could to get over Bex and now she'd sent a child here.

A child claiming I was her...wait...

Her fingers curled around my bicep, effectively drawing my attention in her direction. I stared into her darkened eyes for a moment. She was concerned? Was it for my safety?
Her lips parted a little. She was probably going to say something else but I didn't give her a chance before I crushed my lips to hers. I had two thoughts as I waited for the inevitable punch to the gut:
